Kate Ryan - Physiotherapist
Kate graduated from Griffith University on the Gold Coast with a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2016. Prior to completing her Masters, Kate completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Ballarat , Victoria.
Kate is very passionate about, and particularly interested in Sports Physiotherapy/Sports Injuries, with an in depth knowledge of many sports. Kate’s interest in sports injuries stem from her passion for sport, hockey in particular, having represented Country Australia and captaining the team to a Gold medal at the World League Round 1 tournament.
Kate also does dry needling, works with Vestibular conditions and completes dance assessments. Kate also has a specific interest in Paediatrics, caring for a number of Paediatric cases. This includes but is not limited to; development delay concerns, genetic conditions such as Angelman Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy and biomechanical abnormalities. Kate finds the positive results achieved with these patients extremely rewarding.
Kate is eager to expand on her knowledge and experience of many aspects of Physiotherapy as she can and is committed to ongoing learning opportunities in order to provide a holistic and optimal treatment plan for each person individually. Kate is committed to continuing to develop her knowledge and has a strong interest in continued professional development and evidence based practice.
