We are excited to announce that Physical Therapy now offers services specifically tailors to the NDIS.
We have a fully accessible practice with disabled parking, access ramps and electric hoists available. Not only can we offer in-clinic physiotherapy services, but our physiotherapists can also complete home-visits for those people who may not be able to get into our Wollongong based practice. Our physiotherapists specialise in helping people of various ages, abilities, and health conditions, and will assist you in reaching your goals. Whether your goals are to help you get out of bed, complete your daily jobs and hobbies, manage your pain, lose weight, or learn to walk again, our physiotherapists will sit down with you and design a treatment plan that help achieve these goals. The physiotherapists at physical therapy are qualified in dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, and paediatrics.
Physical Therapy has NDIS registered Exercise Physiotherapists, who are university trained and experienced in providing hands on treatment and prescribed rehabilitation to individuals of varying ages and disabilities. Our exercise physiologists are experts in utilising their excellent knowledge of exercise to assist you in achieving your goals, whilst only implementing safe and evidence based exercise prescription. Physical Therapy has a fully equipped gym and hydrotherapy pool that is wheelchair accessible, we also offer a range of hoists and lifts in the gym and hydrotherapy pool to assist with access.
Our gym is well suited to helping people with type of impairments and conditions and our onsite, heated pool can be used to complete an individualised hydrotherapy program that has been written out by one of our trained exercise physiologists with your goals and abilities in mind. Our exercise physiologists specialise in strengthening your muscles, neuromuscular re-training, isolated muscle and motor control exercises, and treatment plans to improve your walking and balance.
